About Company

Bryan Insurance Agency first started selling insurance in Tooele County nearly 100 years ago with John C. Bryan at the head. Our agency was appointed with Bear River Mutual from their early beginnings in 1909, being recognized in the company even today as agency #12. The agency has remained in the Bryan family since its beginning, with ownership being passed down four generations from John C. Bryan, to Carver W. Bryan, to Lynn Bryan and currently Sharon Bryan Bunn. Bryan Insurance Agency is proud to continue the business that was started so long ago and we look forward to many more years of helping citizens of Tooele County and throughout the state with their insurance needs.

Feb 2023. I have been with a national brand company (having to do with “Farming”) for 40+ years and they have done a fine job for my family. I was recently motivated to search for a lower-cost insurance provider when my 3-vehicle policy jumped enough to encourage me to look around. After a non-short search, I found “Bear River Mutual”, provided by Bryan Insurance Agency (Tooele, UT). For my “home” and 3-vehicles, Bear River now costs me 38% of what I was going to pay for almost identical coverage. I am SAVING $1430 per year. The people at the Bryan Agency are delightful, helpful and easy to work with. There isn’t much info on the web from JD Power & the other raters, but Bear River has been in business for 114 years; since 1909! We've had several claims we've needed to make on a few of our cars and everything has been taken care of and resolved very quickly.
