I cannot recommend this company enough. We had a window well fill with secondary water and burst into our basement. Half of our basement was flooded and we were looking for a professional to help us restore what was ruined.

First of all, Heather was the person I spoke to on the phone and she was IMMENSELY helpful, kind, and knowledgeable in both insurance and the disaster process. They were busy but she was able to send a technician out within the hour!! So wonderful.

Next, Kurt came in to our home and immediately offered knowledgeable advice about the insurance process. He metered the perimeter of every room in the basement as well as drilling the small holes to meter the insulation on exterior walls. He helped me place the fans and understand what to do going forward. His knowledge and expertise were appreciated more than I can explain!

I have 100% faith in Certified Disaster and will never use another company. Their level of professionalism and honesty is unmatched. Thank you so much for giving me some hope in this difficult situation!

From start to finish, Scott Barben was professional, thorough, and always positive and reassuring. We’re older folks and needed that encouragement, for sure. We experienced a house fire that displaced us from our home for several months and we needed to find a disaster repair company to restore our home. We are so glad we chose Certified Disaster Services! Scott and his entire team helped to make a horrible situation manageable, and we couldn't be happier with the results! As expected with any situation like ours, there is a lot to navigate and it was so nice to have someone helping us through it all. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable, and all of the required work was completed within the original time frame we were given. Honestly, we hope you never need their services, but if you're reading this, it's probably safe to assume you do. (You have our sympathy there, for sure!) We had a sewage flood several months ago in our basement. It affected several rooms. Certified Disaster Services was so good at both cleanup and restoration. Their people kept us informed, answered all of our many many questions and concerns and made us feel like they really wanted us to be happy with the finished product. Because the flood was in our small basement apartment it affected a bathroom a kitchen and a bedroom so there was a lot to do. Choosing flooring , figuring out how to restore old cabinetry, and redoing a bathroom took several months but they were stellar at customer service through the whole thing. Their people were respectful, professional and easy to work with. I am amazed at how hard they worked for us.

Going through a house fire is not something I would want anyone to have to experience, but if you do need restoration services there is no company more equip for the job. From the initial phone call, Scott was able to provide so much information and reassurance and lay out the process step by step without it feeling more overwhelming. The very next day him and Amanda were at my house walking me through how things would work, they were so knowledgeable about not only what needed to happen in regards to cleaning and repairing our home but also were familiar with our insurance company and agent and were able to answer the many many questions I had. I felt completely comfortable and confident in their work and they made this awful tragic situation so much more bearable. Thank you Scott and Amanda, Brooke, and the whole team for making me feel like a priority, and not just another “job” I am so grateful for all your help and hard work during the process of restoring my home from a kitchen fire.

We had a house fire that was really traumatic and we were overwhelmed about what to do. Scott and his team gave us so much peace of mind. They swooped in and took care of everything. We were extremely happy with the service provided by Certified Disaster Services, from start to finish. The estimate they provided us was very detailed and gave us a clear understanding of what would be done. They kept us updated on progress and quickly notified us of anything that came up unexpectedly that might impact the estimate or work timeline. They completed the remediation and repair work quickly and were very cautious not to negatively impact areas of the home that did not require work. While we hope to never need their services again, we would not hesitate to contact them should the need arise.

We recently had someone drive into our house, Scott and his crew came to restore the damage. They were very helpful, efficient, and easy to work with. Scott was easy to reach and very easy to work with, he is personable and was an excellent go between with us and our insurance. After the stress of the accident it was very nice to work with someone who took care of it all and made sure that the work got done to what we had all agreed upon!

I’m so appreciative to Certified Disaster and Scott’s Crew for putting me back together! After a toilet leak and a kitchen sink leak into the finished basement within a day of each other, Scott was right out to inspect the wet areas and recommend a plumber, and Kurt and Robert rechecked for moisture and left me with fans. Robert carefully cut out the damaged ceiling and wall sheetrock and cleaned and sprayed disinfectant, followed days later with Mike and Rolonzo doing a careful sheetrock patch and perfect texturizing—it looks so much better than the prior work (and Lonzo, thanks for some heavy lifting :). And finally, thank you Frank and Frank Jr. for such an amazing paint match and careful work. You guys were awesome and I’d love to have you back to paint the whole house! I also appreciated Heather keeping me up-to-date on all the scheduling. It’s never fun to go through repairs, but Scott’s Crew definitely came through and it looks better than before. Certified was great to work with. Progress was slow at times, but it always is when insurance companies are involved. Scott was an absolute professional and always worked with me, even when I moved the goal post at the eleventh hour

Kurt W. came to our house to do a mold inspection. We have an old home with multiple areas where water makes its way into the basement. He is extremely knowledgeable/experienced and what I really appreciate is that he thoroughly educated us. He is a very genuine and patient person and we highly recommend him!

We recently had our shower pan crack and needed the ceiling in our family room and our entire shower redone. We picked this company based on the reviews that we found and are overall glad we did. Scott was very easy to work with! For the most part I was always able to get a quick response from him either via text or call which was helpful! The only reason why I did not give a full 5 star rating was because the marble company that was used took a long time to make and install and when they did finally come they ended up cracking the marble ceiling (which I'm told happens 1 in 20 times it just happened to be us) so then we had to wait another week for our marble. The finished product however looks very nice! The other thing was the glass door took a month to come in as well. The family room looks great, you can't even tell there was damage at all! Now that everything is done we are very satisfied. Overall great company!!!

I have worked with Certified Disaster for over 12 years delivering portable storage containers to their jobs. Scott has been around for as long as I have and great to work with and we can tell he does a great job taking care of his customers. Most homes are a big mess when we arrive to deliver a UNIT and when we come back to pick the UNIT up the homes look beautiful again. Scott and everyone else at Certified (Dave, Duane, Kurt, Eric and Heather we work with often) are all very easy to work with and are always responsive. We appreciate that they support local businesses like ours.

If I could give 100 stars I would. From start to finish these guys were seamless. Kurt is super knowledgeable and took the best care of us. I couldn't be more happier with their work. Definitely recommend them for all my disaster cleanup needs

It started when a kitchen wall water pipe broke and mold developed. After tear down, we decided on creating a new modern kitchen. Glenn and the guys were excellent. We had a dishwasher leak and Glenn, the owner, took the lead and coordinated everything from the removal of the floor, sub floor granite top, and cabinets. Then had all reinstalled, new paint, and trimmed. Very professional. He made sure we were satisfied. Me being very particular, I was very happy. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Glenn.

Scott Barben's crew with Adrian as the lead on-site repair person were absolutely fantastic. Scott came out first to review the work needed and explained the process to us fully. Adrian and his co-workers were timely, responsive, and the work was very cleanly done and ahead of time. The end result of the work they did was awesome. You can't tell that there was ever any water damage in the house. Everything looks just like new. We highly recommend them for this type of repair work. If we should ever need work like this done again, we would definitely use them, hands down!
